Truth and Depth

Dear Someone
I find it hard to come up with the words to say this,
But there are feelings deep within me
That are turning violently.
I want to speak these feelings,
So prominent yet unrecognizable,
I cannot bring them out.
I want the world to recognize these feelings
To understand where I am,
In this moment, know and see the path I have walked.
Respect that I am going the direction
that I carved for myself out of the earth, built from the world I've seen.
Troubles I've faced.
Pain from trying so hard to follow others.
I hope someone can respect or understand my motives, my way, my cultivation,
And see them not as contrived or vain,
But as a love letter to the self.
